Xylitol is found in small amounts in many fruits and vegetables, such as plums, strawberries, cauliflower, and pumpkin. The Xylitol is produced by hydrolysing the xylan, a polysaccharide that contains xylitol, from the corn cob and then purify it.


Xylose is a form of sugar that comes from woody substances such as straw, corn cobs, pecan shells, and cottonseed hulls.


Maltitol is a type of carbohydrate known as a sugar alcohol or polyol. It is derived from the sugar maltose, which is found in starches.
